Penn State: All You Need to Know

Pretty much all you need to know on the Freeh investigation about serial pedophile Jerry Sandusky’s supervisors at Penn State can be found in Louis Freeh’s introductory comments:

Our most saddening and sobering finding is the total disregard for the safety and welfare of Sandusky’s child victims by the most senior leaders at Penn State. The most powerful men at Penn State failed to take any steps for 14 years to protect the children who Sandusky victimized. Messrs. Spanier, Schultz, Paterno and Curley never demonstrated, through actions or words, any concern for the safety and well-being of Sandusky’s victims until after Sandusky’s arrest.

Any organization – any part of any organization – that puts its reputation ahead of the safety of children is  beneath contempt. WC’s thoughts are with the victims of Penn State’s obscene priorities, who were first sexually abused by Sandusky and then abused again when they were denied any relief or protection by some of the most powerful men at Penn State.
