It’s famously hard to make an attractive photo of Fairbanks. The Golden Heart of Alaska has many charms, but few flattering angles. Still, WC found one.
The problem with the beautiful summer is that, all too soon, it slides into autumn.
The more serious problem with autumn is that it is ridiculously short. Soon enough, it’s winter.
Winter, on the other hand, is impressively, depressingly long.
We’ll stop there. A spring photo would be far too optimistic for this time of the year.
